My husband and I realized that we have been going out to eat way too frequently. Part of the problem was that we just didn’t feel like cooking or we did not know how old leftovers were to reheat. A simple solution has solved the problem!

A simple whiteboard weekly planner placed on the fridge door has not only solved the problem of not remembering when we cooked something, but also has been inspiring us to eat our leftovers more frequently. Plus the fridge is staying clean because we are throwing stuff out before it gets to that questionable point…you know the one that usually involves funky smells or various colored fuzzy mold. Though honestly, we have yet to really get to that point. It has almost become a game for us to try to finish what is in the fridge. When we can erase something off the board because we have finished it, we are even high-fiving.
